BBL Men: the definition of a Male Brazilian Butt Lift

What is the definition of a Male Brazilian Butt Lift?

A male Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL Men) is a cosmetic plastic surgery procedure that uses liposuction to harvest (remove and preserve) fat deposits from troublesome areas, most often the abdomen (stomach), waist, and back.

To get the desired effect, the removed fat is subsequently injected or grafted into the buttocks. Male and female BBL differ somewhat in that fat is injected into the hips to generate softer curves and rounder buttocks. We do not inject it into male hips since most male BBL patients prefer a more defined and square buttock.

A BBL treatment shapes and molds your body. You will enjoy a more rugged, sharper, and endowed look. A BBL not only enhances the shape and volume of your buttocks but also reduces your stomach proportionately, giving you a much more proportional and consistent appearance. With a simple surgery, you might look better, feel better, fit better in your clothing, and enjoy a healthy boost in self-confidence and happiness.

If you satisfy the following criteria, you are a suitable candidate for this procedure:

  • You`re between the ages of 25 and 55.
  • You are either at or near your optimal body weight.
  • You are in good physical and mental health.
  • You are a non-smoker
  • You have sufficient body fat volume for grafting.
  • You have reasonable expectations about the surgery.

Men`s BBL Procedure

Before the procedure, you will talk with Dr. Mowlavi and his colleagues to ensure that you are a good candidate. At that point, he will walk you through the procedure and prepare you for surgery. This may include taking medication prescribed by the Cosmetic Plastic Surgery Institute clinic, changing current medicines, and conducting lab tests, including a COVID-19 tetrahedron test.

A male Brazilian Butt Lift surgery under general anesthesia takes around 3-4 hours. It is a straightforward three-step procedure that includes the following steps:

1.   Liposuction is frequently performed to remove fat from the upper/lower abdomen, flanks, lower back, and hip area. In certain situations, other areas with excess fat, such as the arms, maybe treated and used as viable, healthy fat sources. Aside from fat harvesting, the procedure results in a more defined waist and aids in reshaping the torso.

2.   The fat is then isolated from the tumescent fluid and blood byproducts that were aspirated during liposuction. The entire operation is carried out in a closed system, which ensures that the fat remains sterile and decreases infection risk.

3.   This fat is then injected in varying amounts and depths into the buttocks to create the wanted shape, volume, and silhouette. Fat will not be injected deep into the muscle since it is dangerous and not a common therapy.
