I hope everyone has had time to have a holiday break and recharge their batteries for the coming year. Maurice and I had some leisure time at Whangamata beach which was great.

Motor Trade Conference

The Motor Trade Conference (MTA) in Fiji was a great success. We attended several workshops on motor industry issues such as How to Hire Right the First Time, The Future of the Industry, etc. We also got a chance to mix with our MTA members and swap ideas. We look forward to attending another one in the future.

Just like your engine oil, your transmission fluid acts as a lubricant and detergent, carrying away damaging heat and contaminants, protecting your transmission against wear and premature failure.

AA recommend that at 40,000 km intervals your transmission be flushed clean of all contaminants and new auto transmission fluid added to prevent against harmful wear and even a costly rebuild.

Motor Sport Action

Maurice and Blair Thomson are competing in the Fiat 131 and Uno respectively in the Targa Bambina, in March. Alan Thomson will co-drive for Maurice, while Jim Cameron who works for us part time, will sit in Blair’s passenger seat (Brave man). We will keep you posted as to how they get on.
