OMP Racing Newsletter - Stephane Peterhansel driving Mitsubishi wins Dakar 2007. French driver Stephane Peterhansel wins his ninth personal victory at Dakar. With Mitsubishi Pajero Montero Evolution, together with co-driver Jean-Paul Cottret, Peterhansel won the third victory for cars, which follows the previous six ones for motorcycles. In the overall classification, Peterhansel closed the competition with an advantage of 7'26" over the winner of the previous edition, Luc Alphand (always with Mitsubishi). For Team Repsol Mitsubishi Ralliart is the seventh victory in a row at Dakar. We have been involved in the top level competitions, and Dakar is the most severe test for our components. We supply the Mitsubishi team with: fire retardant suits, seats, steering wheels and safety harnesses for Mitsubishi Pajero/Montero Evolution.- OMP with OMV Kronos Citroen team in the WRC worldwide competition OMP announces the agreement with the OMV Kronos Citroen team, taking part in the WRC 2007 worldwide competition. The drivers belonging to the team are: Manfred Stohl-Ilka Minor and Daniel Carlson-Denis Giraudet. The car is Citroen Xsara WRC, which won the last WRC world championship, driven by Sébastien Loeb. We supply the Kronos team with: fireproof clothing for drivers and car mechanics, and the helmets for the Stohl-Minor team.  - Record-holder Inter on OMP seats!
