Racing - Parade of rally champions at OMP
These last few weeks we received some visits:
- Luca Cantamessa and PierCarlo Capolongo (the front runner after two competitions in the Italian Rally Championship 2007), Andrea Dallavilla and Tommaso Rocco who will drive Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution 9 by Mauro Nocentini’s Team MRT;
- Corrado Fontana, who will drive a Punto Super 2000, by Team Grifone, in the 2007 IRC Championship. - Dimitar Iliev e Yanaki Yanakiev, who will drive Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution 9 by Mauro Nocentini’s Team MRT in the European Rally Championship 2007. OMP supplies these pilots with: complete fireproof clothing (underwear, suits, gloves), helmets, safety belts, seats and wheels.

Racing - Presentation of the Campos Racing team (GP2)
The new single-seater of the Campos Racing team was presented: the car will participate in the GP2 2007 Championship, with pilots Pantano and Petrov. We supply the Campos Racing team with: fireproof clothes for drivers.

Racing - Higgins wins Mexico’s rally (WRC - production car category)
Victory for Mark Higgins driving Mitsubishi of the Top Run Racing Italia team in the Mexican stage (11/03/07) of the WRD world championship rally - production cars category.

Racing - OMP with Andretti in the Indycar championship

On occasion of the opening of the new branch of OMP America in Miami (800 Brickell Avenue - Ste 400 - Miami - FL 33131), which is going to play a determinant role in strengthening the presence of the Italian brand in the important USA market, OMP announces a collaboration agreement with promising pilot Marco Andretti (19 years), the youngest winner of the Indycar competition and the best 2006 "rookie". Marco belongs to the great Andretti dynasty: he is Michael's son and Mario’s grandson, and can be considered the first third generation pilot. Marco will use fireproof OMP clothing since the first competition on the oval track of Homestead (03/24/07), on occasion of the USA 2007 Indycar, where he will drive the single-seater by Tem Andretti Green Racing. He will also contribute to the development of competition products, a role previously carried out by pilots such as Nigel Mansell, Ayrton Senna and Michael Schumacher.

Racing - Congratulations to Luke Hines, who ranked second at his first competition of the FIA GT World Championship!
Luke Hines ranked second at his first competition of the FIA GT World Championship in Zhuhai, China. This young man, Martin Hines’ son, owner of Zip Kart and OMP importer in Great Britain, drove a Corvette C6R by team PSI Experience. We provide this young pilot with fireproof clothing.

Racing - Alex Yoong (Team Malaysia) wins the A1GP competition in Mexico
Two races before the end of the 2006/2007 championship, pilot Alex Yoong (ex F1) won for team Malaysia the competition of A1GP in Mexico. We provide team Malaysia, as well as teams Italy, Germany, Pakistan, Indonesia and South Africa with fireproof clothing.
