In Brazil, for the first round of WTCC 2008, the two Yvan Muller’s and Gabriele Tarquini’s Seat Leon 2.0 TDI obtained the victory. The French driver prevailed in race 1, while the Italian driver dominated in race 2. In the first race, the Swedish Rickard Rydell, with another Seat, recorded the second place at Muller’s back. Among the Indipendents, Stefano d’Aste of Proteam distinguished himself for the third place. OMP provides: seats, safety belts, the complete fireproof clothing for Seat Sport drivers, and the fireproof clothing for Stefano D’Aste.

A visit by Thomas Biaggi
After the tests carried out in Monza (with top times for the category) with the Ferrari 430 GT of the award winning Team AF Corse led by Amato Ferrari, the great driver from Bologna, the reigning FIA GT champion, has come and visit us in Ronco Scrivia, in order to fine tune the "work tools" before the upcoming championship, starting with the Silverstone race of 20th April. Thomas knows the OMP products very well: he was an OMP customer when he won the FIAT GT championship in 2003, driving the Ferrari 550 Maranello, and when he scored second in 2001, fighting to the end with Felipe Massa in the Euro 3000 championship.

The 2008 FIA Formula One™ World Championship has commenced and OMP is Official Team Technical Clothing Partner to the SUPER AGURI F1 TEAM, powered by Honda. Competing in the team for the second consecutive year are race drivers Takuma Sato (Jp) and Anthony Davidson (GB).
OMP provides the race drivers and mechanics with fireproof clothing such as suits, underwear, gloves and boots - all manufactured in the factory of Ronco Scrivia and in accordance with the latest FIA regulations. The aim of this partnership is to use the high profile associated with Formula One and its worldwide appeal to significantly broaden the presence and visibility of the OMP brand globally and especially in the Far East, consequently giving greater impulse to the commercial activities in these new and important markets for OMP.
