Tuning - MP with BC Tuning Line at Motortec 2007 in Madrid
From 9th to 13th May, Madrid hosted the Motortec fair (IX Salón Internacional de Equipos y Componentes para la Automoción), the most important Spanish event and one of the most remarkable exhibitions on an international level. OMP, thanks to its BC Tuning Line dealer, participated in the fair and presented its Tuning products line, as well as a vehicle especially conceived for the event.


Tuning - OMP with Hashimoto Corporation at Tokyo Special Import-Car Show
From 11th to 13th May Tokyo hosted the Tokyo Special Import-Car Show, the most important Japanese event specialized in tuning and personalization of imported cars. OMP, thanks to its dealer "Hashimoto Corporation", participated in the exhibition and presented its line of tuning products, as well as the new line of seats, among which the Gran Comfort (HA/708E) model, a reclining seat with steel frame and customizable back body (painting, airbrush) in thermoplastic material.


Racing - After football fields, OMP enter the Superbike pits
After supplying the Tuning style benches for football teams (Palermo, Cagliari, Sampdoria, Empoli and Foggia), OMP enters the Superbike pits to supply “Design 2“ seats (HE/736E) to the Kawasaki Team – PSG1, made up by pilots Regis Laconi and Fonsi Nieto. In the picture, Fonsi Nieto, the nephew of the great motorcycle champion Angel Nieto (six times world champion in the 50 cc. category and 7 times in the 125 cc. one).

Podium for Pantano in GP2 in Montecarlo
Second position in the GP2 Race in Montecarlo for Giorgio Pantano, pilot for the Team Campos Racing. For OMP, this is the first podium for a pilot wearing the innovative "Monoposto” suit (IA01811), which is professional, extra light and with a preformed anatomic design.

WTCC - Menu (Chevrolet) wins race 1 in Pau, Seat cars score second and third
A great victory on the city circuit of Pau (France) for Alain Menu (Chevrolet), who won race 1 and has been the lead since the beginning. For Menu, this is the second seasonal victory, after the Zandvoort one. Second and third position for the Seat cars of Yvan Muller and Tiago Monteiro. OMP supplies with fireproof clothing the pilots of RLM Chevrolet and Seat Sport Teams.


WRC - Debut in a race for the Jet 4 Hans © Intercom helmet, personalised for Stohl
In the Acropoli rally (Greece), the last run off race for the world championship, Manfred Stohl, from the Kronos team, used for the first time the OMP Jet4 Hans © Intercom helmet. As one can see from the photos, it is an open face helmet featuring a composite shell, foldaway sun visor below the sun peak. The model worn by Stohl is equipped with Hans © safety device clips. It has a headset and microphone ready for connection with intercom (standard Peltor).
