GP2 at Magny Cours - Giorgio Pantano wins 1st race A Saturday full of emotions in the 1st race at Magny Cours (30/6-1/7/2007): there was an accident between Glock and Zuber at the start, and Ernesto Viso flew off track, he got off unhurt after an awful accident that suspended the race for over an hour. At the second start, Giorgio Pantano (Team Campos Racing) was in 3rd place but after a few laps he was in the lead, he remained that way until the end of the race. J. Villa wins 2nd race on Sunday, in second place Luca Filippi (Team Super Nova) who is a follower of the title, in 3rd place the great Giorgio Pantano. ChampCar- Will Power wins on the Toronto racetrack Victory for Will Power (team Australia) on the Canadian racetrack in Toronto. This is the second victory of the young driver’s career, it takes him up to second place in the overall classification only two points away from Doorbons in first place. Chevrolet dominates in race 1 at the GP in Portugal Chevrolet secures the first three podium positions with Alain Menu (in the lead for the entire race), Rob Huff and Nicola Larini. Victory for Mitsubishi and Peterhansel at 2007 Baja España Mitsubishi on the first two positions on the podium during the race of the World Championship Rally Raid 2007 Baja España. Stèphane Peterhansel came out on top, while Joan “Nani” Roma scored second; both of them drove Pajero / Montero MP 13.
